The cost-of-living crisis will have a greater impact on vulnerable communities than the pandemic.

That’s why we’re asking you to donate now to the Merton Giving Fund, Building Resilience that provides grants to local charities supporting those most affected.

Local charitable organisations are already helping people, but they need support to be able to do more. These organisations need help themselves to allow them to carry on providing the fundamental support that our local communities need right now.

Why it matters

The rise in the cost of living with inflation the highest in a generation will deepen the existing vulnerabilities in our borough, particularly amongst key communities including older people, some ethnic groups and disabled people.  The Merton Giving Fund, Building Resilience focuses on addressing issues in the borough which are exacerbated by the economic crisis and the continued effect of the pandemic.

Local giving has a part to play and makes a huge difference to people in Merton.  However small your donation is, your support helps play a part in making a big change.

Help us raise £10,000.
